A New Team Up - For New Momentum
Building a Better World: When Vision Meets Infrastructure
Sometimes the most powerful changes happen when the right pieces finally click into place.
For months, I've been sharing my vision of building a better world for our children – one where ecological responsibility and economic justice aren't just dreams, but daily realities.
Today, I'm excited to announce a collaboration that could exponentially increase our chances of making that vision real.
Let me tell you a story about three pieces of a puzzle that have finally come together.
The first piece begins with a simple truth:
We, the older generations, have failed our kids.
Through action and inaction, we've allowed their future to be compromised by unchecked greed and environmental degradation. This recognition led me to create That Better World – a channel dedicated to speaking truth to the "adults in the room." My message is clear: We have both the responsibility and the resources to help young people build a better future.
But awareness alone isn't enough.
Young people are already deeply conscious of what's at stake – studies show 59% are "very" or "extremely" worried about climate change. They see the headlines. They feel the anxiety. And most importantly, they want to act.
This understanding led to the second piece: Better World Coalition, a non-profit dedicated to transforming young people's environmental anxiety into concrete action.
The Coalition follows a carefully designed three-step process:
- First, we educate young people about real, working climate solutions that are already making a difference.
- Then, we provide the organizational structure these young people need to launch their own community projects.
- Finally, we offer ongoing guidance as they implement solutions that strengthen both the environment and local economies.
But something was missing.
We had the vision, we had the educational framework, but we lacked the technological infrastructure to connect all these elements together – until now.
Enter the third piece: Connection Engine.
Based on a philosophy they call "Alignment Beyond Agreement," Connection Engine is building the digital infrastructure for a society that prioritizes human and planetary wellbeing.
They're creating a network that connects needs to resources, linking ethical entrepreneurs and cooperative founders with the tools, funding, and mentoring they need to succeed.
Think of it like this: If That Better World is the compass pointing us toward a better future, and Better World Coalition is the vehicle helping young people move in that direction, then Connection Engine is the road-network making that journey possible.
They're building the highways and bridges that connect individual efforts into a powerful collective force.
The brilliance of this collaboration lies in its network effects.
Every new connection – whether it's a young activist finding a mentor, a community project accessing funding, or a local initiative linking up with similar efforts across the country – multiplies the impact of everything we do. It's not just addition; it's multiplication. (1 + 1 = 11)
This isn't just organizational synergy – it's a new model for creating systemic change.
That Better World continues to wake up the adults in the room and marshal resources.
Better World Coalition keeps empowering young people to take action in their communities.
And Connection Engine provides the technological framework that amplifies everyone's efforts.
I've spent years searching for a way to fully deliver on the promise I made to my kids – to help build a world worthy of their future.
Now, with this collaboration, I can finally see the path forward.
It's not just about having the right ideas or even the right people – it's about having the right infrastructure to turn those ideas and that energy into lasting change.
Together, we're not just building a better world. We're building the systems that make a better world possible.
If this collaboration is as inspiring to you as it is to me, in my next post I'm going to provide you with the opportunity to contribute and help us get this thing off the ground!
